What the business mostly does. A roofer who works mainly on hail claims is rated with roofers, not general contractors.

Average rating weighed against the number of reviews. Hundreds of solid reviews beat a handful of perfect ones.

Address, phone, hours and website checked. Closed or unreachable means off the list.

Quadrant and community noted. Mobile services show the areas they cover.

Best overall rating first. Lists are revisited: closures come off, newcomers that earn it go on.
