Terms of use for Calgary Rated: information only, how ratings work, business listings, paid plans and acceptable use.
Scope
These terms cover use of Calgary Rated (calgaryrated.com), a free guide to Calgary businesses. Using the site means agreeing to them.
Information only
Lists help you compare. They aren’t professional advice, and they don’t guarantee any business’s quality or price. Any deal you make is with the business, not with us.
How ratings work
Public information on each business, such as its rating, review count, category, location, hours, phone and photos, combined with our editorial judgment. Third-party ratings change.
Accuracy
Lists are reviewed regularly. Details can still change in between, so call ahead.
Listings and paid plans
Owners claim listings free in “For businesses”. Pro and Top are optional subscriptions billed by Stripe, which shows price and renewal terms at checkout. Paid positions carry a label. We may reverse inaccurate owner edits.
Acceptable use
No unlawful use, scraping, attempts to access restricted areas, impersonation or false information.
Content ownership
Texts, list selection and order, design and the Calgary Rated name are ours or used under licence. Quote and link; don’t copy wholesale.
Liability
We aim for accuracy but can’t guarantee it at all times, and we aren’t responsible for listed businesses’ products or services. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection law that applies to you. We may amend these terms; this page always has the latest. Questions: info@calgaryrated.com.
